Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between Amazon Music and Amazon Music Unlimited?
Amazon Music (Prime Music) is a free benefit of Amazon Prime with a limited catalog of about 2 million songs. Amazon Music Unlimited is a separate paid subscription with 100+ million songs, HD audio, and more features.
Will I still have Amazon Prime Music if I cancel Unlimited?
Yes. If you have an active Amazon Prime membership, you'll keep access to Prime Music's limited catalog after cancelling Amazon Music Unlimited.
Can I get a refund on my annual plan?
If you cancel an annual plan within 3 days of the charge, you can typically get a full refund. After that, Amazon may offer a partial refund based on the months remaining.
What happens to my playlists?
Playlists are saved but any Unlimited-exclusive songs in them will become unplayable. Songs from the Prime Music catalog will still work if you have Prime.
Does cancelling affect my Amazon Prime?
No. Amazon Music Unlimited and Amazon Prime are separate subscriptions. Cancelling one does not affect the other.
