How to Cancel ESPN+
Last updated: April 4, 2026
ESPN+ is Disney's sports streaming service offering live events, originals, and on-demand content. Cancellation depends on how you subscribed — directly through ESPN/Disney, through Apple, or as part of the Disney Bundle (with Disney+ and Hulu). If you're on the Disney Bundle, you'll need to cancel the entire bundle or switch to standalone plans.

- •Annual plan subscribers do not receive partial refunds — you keep access until the annual period ends.
- •PPV (Pay-Per-View) events purchased through ESPN+ are separate charges and are not refundable.
- •ESPN+ content is also accessible through the ESPN app and the Disney+ app — make sure to check all your billing sources.
- •Some ESPN+ content may still be available for free on the ESPN app with a cable/TV provider login.
Frequently asked questions
Can I cancel just ESPN+ from the Disney Bundle?
Not directly. The Disney Bundle is a single subscription covering Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+. To cancel ESPN+ alone, you'd need to cancel the entire bundle and then resubscribe to Disney+ and Hulu individually.
Will I lose access to live sports immediately?
No. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. After that, you'll lose access to ESPN+ exclusive content but can still use the free portions of the ESPN app.
Can I get a refund on my annual plan?
ESPN+ does not typically offer partial refunds for annual plans. Your access continues until the annual period ends. If you believe you were charged in error, contact Disney+ support.
What's the difference between ESPN+ and ESPN the channel?
ESPN+ is a separate streaming service with its own exclusive content. The ESPN cable channel requires a cable or live TV subscription (like YouTube TV or Fubo). Some content overlaps, but they are separate products.
How do I cancel if I subscribed through my TV provider?
If ESPN+ was added through a cable or satellite provider, you'll need to contact that provider directly to cancel. The ESPN/Disney website cannot manage provider-billed subscriptions.
