How to Cancel Roku in France

French consumer law (Code de la consommation, Article L221-18) grants a 14-day cooling-off period for online subscriptions. The Hamon Law (Loi Hamon) of 2014 further strengthened consumer rights, allowing easier cancellation of ongoing contracts after the initial commitment period.

Steps to Cancel Roku
Go to my.roku.com and sign in to your Roku account
Click on your account name in the top right corner
Select 'Manage your subscriptions' (or go directly to my.roku.com/account/subscriptions)
Find the channel subscription you want to cancel
Click 'Unsubscribe' next to the service
Confirm by clicking 'Unsubscribe' again on the confirmation popup
You'll receive a confirmation email from Roku
On your Roku home screen, navigate to the channel you want to cancel
Press the Star (*) button on your Roku remote
Select 'Manage subscription' from the options menu
Select 'Cancel subscription'
Confirm the cancellation
Open the Roku app on your phone
Tap 'Devices' and select your Roku device
Tap 'My account' or navigate to account settings
Go to 'Manage subscriptions'
Find the subscription and tap 'Cancel'
